Is there an advantage to hiring a human editor over using automated tools?

While digital and AI text tools such as Grammarly and Chat GPT have improved in recent years, there is simply no substitute for the eye of a native language editor, particularly in academic work. While digital tools are adequate for some basic tasks, they will fail to grasp the nuance and line of argument of an entire piece, and thus miss much of the context of your writing. As a native language editor, I can assure a quality of work which AI can never achieve.
